Dr. Johannes F. Kirchhoff serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of KIRCHHOFF Ecotec SE, based in Iserlohn, Germany, a company he has built and developed over the past 32 years.
KIRCHHOFF Ecotec includes the FAUN Group, which Dr. Kirchhoff acquired in 1994, and the ZOELLER Group, acquired in 2005. Together, these two global companies manufacture vehicles for waste management logistics and street cleaning and are recognized leaders in their field.
For many years, Dr. Kirchhoff has been committed to advancing alternative drive technologies within the industry, with a particular focus on hydrogen fuel cell electric systems. He is also an active advocate for the circular economy and serves as a member of the Executive Board of the BDI Initiative Circular Economy.
