John Bonczyk is a senior engineering and product development executive with deep expertise in leading complex, global programs from concept through launch. He currently serves as Vice President of Engineering and Product Management at McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing, where he drives product strategy, portfolio transformation, and digital innovation, including connected and intelligent solutions.

With a career spanning automotive, recreational vehicle industries and refuse vehicles, John has held leadership roles at Winnebago Industries and FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles), where he led major vehicle programs, advanced electrification strategies, and built high-performing global teams. His international experience includes extensive assignments in China, India, Mexico, and Europe, where he successfully launched products, established engineering operations, and managed large-scale investments.

He holds an MBA from Oakland University and both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan, and also serves as a board member for Lixo, a French technology company focused on smart waste solutions.
